oh yea!
i meant to blog this long ago.
but always forgot.
see right,
remember i was staying in NTU last week?
well i remember on the very first day,
during our lunch break, we had some extra time
and the four girls did something very commendable.
we went into the NTU lee wee nam library.
and it doesnt stop there!
the four of us played a really intellectual game
its called
who-can-find-the-thickest-book-wins
and needless to say,
i won.
thankyouthankyou.
it was really fun!
we intended on looking for the fiction section
but who would have guessed,
NTU offers not.
so we ended up trying to look intellectual, browsing the shelves.
of course levisha had to try her very best to act intellectual
while being intellectual itself came to me with such ease.
hahahahhha
but then again,
who can ever trust four giggly girls,
running through shelves of books
(not even sunflowers, mind you)
clad in a certain uniform
with a certain shade of blue
and looking suspiciously similar to a certain group of people
working in a factory in a certain part of the east?
even if we did try to put on thick spectacles,
and tuck in our shirts the expected way,
rid of the disappearing socks,
wipe the grin off our faces,
admit it,
its still a stigma against the certain us.
and that is a certainty.
well just to share, something we heard
or rather, overheard.
during lunch on the second last day of the camp,
we heard this rjc guy comment on how cjc is
piping up the heat
of course its free for interpretation
but anyone would have guessed
(after all this is a inter-institution competition-based camp)
that he meant that cjc never proved to be such competition previous years
and only seems like one this year..?
i dont know.
but think again,
what he says just means that cjc never was competition?
I DONT KNOW.
yea maybe you can accuse us of eavesdropping
but who asked him to talk so loudly
and besides its not our fault we were wearing outside clothings
the paper they gave said we could.
bahh just quit it with the stigma.

and she was nominated for four categories.

it was bought from hongkong during winter
but, it failed to do its wonders this afternoon.

voyeurism is scary.
suddenly found myself (illegally)
in some persons website
and realised that he attended the same kindergarden as me
somewhere in the east.

ok for all those who thought i would never really go running,
fyi, i did.
jogged around my house estate
and perspired a bucket full
i suck at running, period.
i am set on jogging at least 4 times a week
and after my sister finishes her exams,
we will jog everyday.
my sister whines and says,
who has ever heard of a flabby model..?
(wait, she is the model, DUH)
ermm lets just say she has put on quite a bit of weight..
hahaha and as for me,
i shall just keep up with my losing after ntu.

my tummy aches.
ughh.
i bet its the half cooked half hardened tangyuan i ate this morning.
wahh my stomach really really hurts.
yuck tangyuan sucks!
didnt go to church this morning
not because my tummy hurt..
but cus my brother is sick
and i had to stay home to accompany him.
virus infection or something.
his temperature fluctuating like mad.
now its about 38deg?
did so much housework this morning.
didnt want to waste the morning away.
so exhausting.

went out with dora bev and nim yesterday!
whooo it was super fuunnn.
went shopping in PS.
our long awaited shopping trip to PS!
we went to celebrate doras birthday.
i bought two really nice tops!
from dorothy perkins
at first they were going at $26 a piece
but in the end i got them for $26 for both pieces
nahh it wasnt buy one get one free.
it was because it was
$26 for one
$29 for two
$39 for three.
so worthied to buy three right.
so i bought two while dora bought one.
and we each paid $13 for one piece!
what a good buy.

if not for her i would have to buy $26 for one piece.
one of them is a black top that goes really nicely with my new skirt
the other looks like a sweater kind of top.
but can be worn on its own lah
we went to lips after that
the mash potatoes were so good
the ambience was better
but the company was the best!

went to jalan besar
the food is like.. heavenly
such a feast man.
ordered so much
there was this weird guy there
i was carrying a tray of drinks back to my table
then that weird guy, who was in front of me, suddenly stopped
and turned around
so he almost banged into my tray of drinks
and he looked at me and gave a funny noise
that sounded like a snort.

and i am quite certain its getting swollen too

officially PW is now over for good.
no more PW for me in junior college level

but before i go into my elation
i must establish one fact
GOD IS GOOD!
phweet.
as in, really, really, extremely.
everything was pointing towards failure before the OP started
from last night
or rather, this morning.
when i stayed up till 4am to type the damn minutes
and when i wanted to print them,
the com just paused it by itself
like, whoa.
so all i could do was stare dumbly at the screen
and pray.
this morning we was supposed to meet at 9am
to have a final dry run
on the way there, as i waited at the bus stop
i realised
i forgot to bring the PW file!
horrors of horrors.
thats like the worst thing that could happen.
so i had to go back home to get the file
while i was waiting for the bus again,
i realised my second horror of that short span of 1 minute..
i didnt bring my house key.
and there was no one at home!
greeeatt.
i prayed again.
simply submitting everything to God.
had to call my dad, my sis, my mum..
to find a way to get back home.
i was so hesitant to call my mum
cus she just lectured me the night before for staying up till so late just to slog over PW
but i did anyway.
in the end i had to cab down to her office
and she was super nice!
she drove me home to get the file
and drove me to the bus stop to get to school again.
thing is, she almost got into an accident
cus she was really overwhelmed by fatigue.
yet she still chose to drive me home.
my mummy rocks!
God rocks - He made all these possible!
finally i reached school at 10am.
and still had to print out the minutes in the library
went down, wasted a whole lot of paper, money and time.
dora was so sweet!
she rushed up to tell us about some forms we had to fill up
she is really such an angel
what would i have done without her.
love you sweetie!
anyway in the end, we never did accomplish rehearsing at all
not even once, or half.
through the other groups presentations
we all kept practicing in our heads.
like this was probably the first time i saw yongwei so serious about work.
the other time when we had dry run
and i used joes laptop,
the parts of the slides were cut off
we were so worried this would happen again
so audrey and i prayed.
finally when it came to our turn,
it started to rain
and pour real hard.
and in reallyreally hard.
we all panicked.
this meant we had to speak even louder
to compete with the sound of the rain!
ughh
audrey and i prayed again.
and guess what??
the rain actually stopped!
it stopped when it came to mira and yongweis turn
cus they are the softer speakers
i told you God is gooooood!!
overall the presentation was so good
i almost burst
the examiners enjoyed the slides.
that made all of us swell with pride.
and what did i just say?

cus the other one had no size for me
and i also bought another skirt!!!
its like the most beautiful skirt ever.

the day before my mum bought me a pair of pants
super nice too
quite ex.
but my aunty had $10 discount
my mum is so nice!!
she said i always dont buy stuff
so she bought it for me.
haha really mahh. i dont really buy stuff.
