we got back our results today!
ok i'll start from the top.. woke up at 830am this morning. partly cus i was really urgent.. as in.. the toilet, u noe.. yea then cldnt get back to sleep. so went downstairs to get breakfast. and sat myself down in front of the tv and watch vcds. which utterly bored me. i ponned sch today again. oh well. yea then i left home at around 11plus to meet neo and wen in stnicks canteen for lunch. at the bus stop at parkway there, while i was waiting for my bus.. mr koh suddenly appeared. the geog tcher in stnicks. yea for a moment i could not place his face. but that was for a split sec only.. and he was asking if i was excited. but no, i wasnt. anyway.. he started talking abt humanities. and well. i was just hoping for at least a B4 for combined humanities.. cus i messed up my SS. yea. he was on the way home to see his wife or smth..
the bus ride to sch was so strange. everything on the way there changed. been so long since ive taken bus to stnicks. was qt a fresh encounter.
met neo and ate our long-awaited meal in stnicks canteen. orange bowl. still tastes so good after my long absence. it was such a familiar feeling. it felt real good to be back in stnicks. with the canteen so wholesome. with two rows of stalls. a huge drinks stall. and friendly stall vendors. the chicken stall uncle still recognised neo and i. old buddies ehh..
ltr wen came. and we went to look for char ng. her birthday today. gave her her present. and we found out from hearsays that our whole class of sec4D got B3 and above for english! oh wells
assembled in the sch hall after that. and listened to miss choo drone on abt the number of distinctions etc. and then highlighting some girls for outstanding achievements and all that crap. only one girl got my admiration. that girl who from 21/22.. jumped to 9 pts. i wish i were her. and the time finally came when we cld get our results back. the moment..
i got 12.
and surprise surprise!!! i got A2 for my SS! i was so shocked! cambridge really moderated alot.. all my results all As and Bs. highest A1. lowest B3. quite an achievement. no C, D, E, F.. kang also had no C, D, E, F. and we were screaming and jumping around. and that mr heng, the sch photographer, took a snap-shot. ugh. pls burn that photo.
i was really qt happy. cus 12 is the cut off pt for vjc arts. and so i pray i'll get in. i really wanna take TSD! (theatre studies and drama.. for those who dunno what it stands for)
very happy for neo! did our class proud! 9 pts. impressed. and sara also. got 10 pts. so wasted. go aus and dont need her results. as a whole im really happy for sec4D. cus everyone improved. oh yea! and sab! the only other A2 in the level for art! along with celine hui. our class displays our true beauty at the end of everything only. when the show's over. when the curtains fall.
come to think of it.. sec4D shld at least have been given some recognition. ppl in my class, their pts also went down alot. rachel jumped 12 pts. and xj also. around 10 pts like that. i myself only went down by 7 pts. but nvm. thats a nice number. oh well. thats ok. im out of stnicks. biased and unfair. like wth. i mean. we're the worst class. but we're still existent.
another happy thing. u noe the stnicks book where they publish students' essays in there.. yea got four of my essays.. really qt flattered. hmm.
told my family and friends abt my results. church and cj friends. most of them all got around the same pts as me. except for smart-ass evelyn peng. she got half of mine. but thats expected. my sis was so nonchalant abt my results. fine lah she got 8pts. whatever
lied to my friend that i got 21. but he was sleeping so didnt get my sms till late. and by then i had already sent him another sms to tell him the truth. shit. cldnt trick him. all he said was that i was lame.
we actually planned to go to the beach after our results to play. but it was so late by then. and anyway it started to rain. crap. so we went town instead. me, neo, kang, xiu and wen. cldnt really decide which part of town to go. decided on suntec in the end. the minute we entered the building.. we saw some slimming thing. 5 ladies go for some slimming treatement. then had blown-up pictures of their "before". and we were supposed to vote for the one who slimmed down the most. it was all based on luck i guess. so the 5 of us voted for each one of the 5 contestants. the winning prize was $10000. but we have to be there to claim the prize tmr. so i guess getting the money will be a dream forgone.
we were kinda hungry by then. so decided to go for dinner. passed by watsons. wen wanted to buy hair dye. waited for her. then after xiu came out of watsons, we turned to go downstairs to eat. and xiu said that wen left already. she was going home for dinner. and her hp no batt also. we ran to look for her to say goodbye. ran along the long long corridor but cldnt find her. it was like some scene in lxhy. so cliched. run run run then lose sight of the person. we cldnt call her to say goodbye either cus her hp was off. drats.
we went kenny rogers for dinner. the mac and cheese was really good. but after that i felt so queasy. cus the cheese was so thick. after dinner neo, xiu and i wanted to go toilet. kang waited at the table for us. we went out of kenny rogers to look for toilets. and when we finally came back.. we walked into the restaurant. and right before us was their very own toilet within the restaurant. we felt like complete idiots. oh well
we then proceeded to heeren. after we got off the mrt at somerset, neo had to go home cus her mum giving treat. we stood outside the lift cus we intended to take it. there were these two guys inside. they were waiting for us to get in. but we were still talking to neo. so we asked them to go first. then one of them started barking (like duh). and they were conversing in malay so we didnt understand a thing they said. one guy then stuck out his third fingers at us. whatever. childish things.
so kang, xiu and i walked to heeren. and kang kept calling us bimbos. hmph. after we crossed the road kang met her friend from JI. no idea what his name is. he was with another friend who's thai. kang kept telling them not to follow us. but obv kang was being overly-sensitive again. as if they want to follow us. mad
we took neoprint. qt ok lahh. except we kinda blended in with the background. not very nice. i looked so sleepy. kang looked so blur. and xiu.. she was a replica in every neoprint we took. looked all the same.
saw shuming's sis, shuwei. shes from stnicks too. sec2 i think.
reached home late late late.. but who cares. i dont. tho i know my mum does.

ponned sch today. got off my friend's mum's car in the morning and saw carmen, hil, mar and jeremy at the bus stop. they were intending to zao.. russel came along. then were waiting for shuming. so i called neo twice but she didnt pick up the phone (ltr i found out that she was sleeping on the bus...) then didnt know where she was, went into sch to look for her. found jayne. and both of us were frantically looking for neo. then when we went out to the bus stop we saw neo walking in. and just nice, the rest boarded the bus. cus they probably thought that we were not ponning too. so we just took the bus after theirs and met them at heeren. qt cool. the streets were so empty and the morning air was so nice and refreshing. we went BK in cine for breakfast. and played cards there. taught the few of them how to play "speed".. anyway, ltr we got chased away cus the manager said not allowed to play poker cards there. no money or not, it was considered gambling. so crap. we were playing some "idiot" game.. where we cldnt talk to ppl on the other "level".. (nvm if u dont understand) yea and i was the only one on my "level". and the long walk from cine to lido i cldnt talk at all. i was really abt to burst. whoever has come across esther tan not talking for at least half an hour. it was really an experience. ltr at lido we bought tickets for chicago. and played speed and taiti to while time away. sam wong and his friend alvin came. haha i kept winning the others in "speed". yea!
chicago was good. was alot like moulin rouge. as in all the dance sequences and song numbers. catherine zeta jones is really pretty. yupp. dont know why but was rather tired and at one pt i almost fell asleep.. but it was good! after the show we saw sab, rach and szuyu and their friend.. really saw alot of ppl at lido. as in stnicks ppl from other schs. they also ponned sch.. yupp then we went to heeren to walk around. irvin, candice, kumutha and shufang joined us. went marche to sit and watch kumutha eat her cake. oh yea. we were talking abt Os results and stuff. well cus everyone knows that the results are out tmr. it was kinda scary in a sense. but ltr the conversation topic drifted to 1T04. kinda like some recollection cum not so recollection time. if u get what i mean.
we were standing outside the entrance of heeren there when i saw ivee from far. haha can nv miss out her infamous walk. i ran to her and hugged her.. and kinda made her bag of sweets fall to the ground. scattering in many different directions. oops. nvm i'll pei chang her tmr..
left town at around 5pm. was really qt sick of town by then. had been there since the wee hours of the morning. wanted to come home earlier to make my mother happy a little..
had been qt an eventful day. tiring and exciting. well i dunno but im still not feeling the tremor i guess i ought to feel cus i'll be getting my results tmr.. so weird.
spent the rest of my time at home cleaning my stupid wound which is kinda "pus-ing" now. gross. so tired but seems so early to sleep. oh well.
cant wait for tmr. as in the post-results period of time. cus i wanna get it over and done with. then play. but dunno lehh. what if my results dont permit me to play to my heart's content?

watched hot chick today! with neo, wen, xiu, mar, shuming and irvin. its really qt a no-brainer show. but a good laugh before the Os results.. certainly no harm. adam sandler and his cameo appearance was really cool man. "where do u keep the weed".. haha duh.
yst went ice skating! with neo, wen, xiu and szuyu. was really fun. so cooling. tho i fell down.. alot. three times on both my knees. and went home with red bruises.. and today! in sch. i kinda jumped down three flights of stairs.. and the leg i landed on kinda buckled. i cldnt keep my balance. and ended up falling on my knees again.. a-g-a-i-n.. as if three times not enough. but this time i scraped both knees.. grazed them. they turned red and the plasma thingie was coming out. u noe.. the kind without haemoglobin. was really gross. and painful. i am so clumsy. thats like the understatement of my life.
went lucky plaza to take bus home. met nik there. took same bus. he destroyed the paper crane i folded out of the bus ticket. idiot. he even implied that im talkative. but well. thats just me.
it wld be a rare chance to have me not talking. my parents told me i only started talking at the age of 2. and so now they say that i talk so much to compensate those two years i didnt talk. heh?

went chao yang special sch today! it was really qt fun. i enjoyed myself. the kids there were kinda fun too. well the first part was a performance that was, in my opinion, one of the best so far.. with all the props and special effects. except i kept forgetting my lines. thanks to my quick reflexes.. i managed to cover up and bluff my way through to the end. then had games and stuff. the kids kept wanting to do pumping for their forfeits. utter madness. mr lim wld have
loved these little kids. helped this boy clean his wound on his big toe.. he's stoical!
after that went far east with irvin, vishaal and wijaya. were waiting for nik.. cus apparently the four of us minus irvin all live in the east.. vishaal and wijaya were helping me with maths (A.P which really sucks. ) while waiting.. and i proudly claim i was able to complete one qn.. but not-so-proudly say.. that i took abt half an hour to finish it. oh well.
oh yea on the way to the bus stop we went to the toilet. then after i was done i was waiting outside in the corridor. and this crazy guy was pushing a trolley of boxes.. he almost rammed it right into me. then he pointed to the gents and asked me to go in.. mad! seriously smth very wrong with him.
hmm bus ride home.. i had ppl to accompany me all the way back. heh.. cus both nik and vishaal alight after me.
nth much. my eyes are really tired. think i'm getting a headache soon. my eyes are closing i really wanna go to sleep now. but its only 830pm! and besides, i've got a chinese compo to complete and alot of maths homework too. yea that dreaded AP and GP stuff. im just so tempted to close both eyes on my pile of homework and go to sleep. haii temptation lingers.

bloggity.. hmm just came home from chao yang special sch. had drama rehearsal there cus we're going there to do our drama CIP this wed.. performing for the little kids there. qt interesting lahh. hmm yea saturday had drama rehearsal too. was supp to meet shuming and jeremy after drama but didnt in the end. and on the way home these two guys were dancing on the bus.. was qt embarrassing lahh. aiya.. oh yea.. at night went to my uncle's hse for dinner and finally mastered playing taiti.. yea! i even won kae.. my sis claims its beginner's luck. whatever..
yst shuming, jeremy and irvin came my church..
haii today had econs test! goodness.. can die lahh. haha py, i was kidding when i said it was ok. wait till my results come out then say kae..
well.. can die tmr got two tests and alot of homework to do.. so yea..

my emotions today went to such great extremes. in the morning went airport to send sara off. neo and i were kinda excited. then ltr we cldnt find them. it was 8.30am already. and sara needed to go in at 9.15am. we walked so much and only found them at 9am. neo and i got rather frustrated. cus of the little span of time we cld spend with sara at the last minutes. then fast forward to the departure gate part.. we were very sad. when we saw sara walking towards the counter there, it was unbearable. cried till my eyes got tired. we went to the viewing gallery to see the last of the planes fly off. tho we werent sure which plane sara was on.
ltr neo and i finally returned to cj. everyone was in a happy mood cus its vday. we were the total opposite. haii. was super moody. then after sch kang pangsehed neo and i but we still went lido. and met marilyn, russel, jeremy, abel, paul, quanbao (carmen came much later). i think thats abt all. oh yea and hil too, she was waiting for her friend. stayed there until 6.30-7pm lydat. then left. the guys were playing taiti the whole while. and drinking water as forteit.. and going to the toilet alot of times.
anyway my eyecandy's just eyecandy. duh. if not call him eyecandy for what right.

im so frustrated now! my uncle was so nice to go with me to get contacts. and the minute i came home, my mother asked me a thousand qns ... all basically why and why and why.. perhaps the same reason why she got contacts too??! duh right. just try for a change? cannot meh.
oh yst met neo, wen, xiu and kang at marina. by the time i reached there they were buying kites to fly.. said they met some cj ppl at superbowl. was qt fun just sitting on the grass, warming in the sun, enjoying the breeze and watching kites fly. so relaxing. oh yea! the soccer team from china, supposed to play in the S League or smth. we saw them training there. and basically we were just admiring their skills.. and of course the super toned body of this guy training topless. wow his abs... ltr they borrowed kites from us. and we borrowed ball from them. what a fair exchange. then ltr met shuming and jeremy in town for dinner. xiu and kang came along. and well, the kang was mad. she kept hitting me and pushing me. at scotts foodcourt she was making such din that everyone turned around and stared. so embarrassing. good thing we werent wearing any sch-u or anything. or we wld have been hauled up to Brother's office.. i bought new slippers. nice and cheap too. my old slippers looked qt miserable beside it.
today pe was qt killer too. my knee is gonna bust soon. ran 6 rounds. then did push ups. then some funny running thing where i got qt disillusioned. my knee really cldnt take it anymore. but mr lim didnt really believe me! and he was like, "is it the pain at the knee or cus of lack of stamina that you cant do?" what crap lor! try getting knocked by car and see how.. shufang got qt sick after pe. was rather scary cus she was very breathless. she went home in the end.
neo scared me todae! with some dumb rubber powerpuff doll on the floor. i didnt see it. and was abt to step on it when she sorta shouted and pulled my hand. i thought it was some horrid insect. a cockroach or smth. and i screamed.. and i looked so stupid. especially when some guy was just coming down the stairs and saw the whole commotion. i cld see him trying to suppress the laughter that was abt to erupt. and ltr when i went back to class, i saw that doll on shuming's table. and neo went on and on abt how i got scared over nth. and made me look stupid all over again..
tmr's vday. the day sara's leaving for aus. its like an oxymoron. vday's supposed to be a happy day. and yet im sad. ugh! tonight the few of us are supposed to meet for our last ever possible dinner with sara before she leaves. and i cant go. why? cus of my mum!!!!!how cliched is that?! very! ... at least i get to see her tmr.. (sorry sara)
my day was happy but became sad.

haha yea yea ok lahh i'll write more eh..
been really sleepy these days in sch. all the lessons so boring. well i devised a way to overcome the sleepiness and stay awake at my sleepiest moments. it worked, but for a while. and after that i was dozing off again. drats. well jayne just kept herself busy by counting the number of times the teacher said "okay" ...
after sch went town with shuming. then later jeremy came. and at kino i met wen and xiu. so went with them instead. ate the very nice japanese noodles! very nice! oh yea i chged bag with seemin todae. her duffel's really nice man! haha..
ugh mr lim really treats us like we're all in NS. even the way he talks is like shouting military commands. and yesterday he made us walk thru the jungle beside cj. we got lost. but eventually got ourselves out amazingly.. it was so dirty and sticky and itchy and gross. he even made us do push ups in the jungle. but look on the bright side lahh. it was only 20. this guy had to do 40 extra cus he kept cursing vulgarities. mr lim was warning us abt snakes and stuff before we entered. but good thing we didnt get to see any snakes. tho we saw this really huuuuge spider right in the midst of devouring an insect. it was qt cool. like those animal discovery channels on tv. but instead u get to see it all up close and personal. yuck. i sure was glad to have brought my towel to wash up. now the classroom floor is full of hardened mud. like remnants of left over chocolate cake turned stale.
oh my sis just told me abt this modelling for beer advert thing. but only legs lahh. and she asked me to go too.. well if they want (overly) muscular, scarred legs with bruises and scabs.. and knobby toes.. they can come look for me. all attributed to me being accident proned. and dancing made my toes turn knobby. dancers usually have ugly feet. cus we dance, duh! and well my muscles at my legs were passed down from my father..

heys. at evelyn's hse now. very very very very long nv blog le. hmm life has been the same. yea right. too much to say also. evelyn stop looking! so hard to type now cus sitting on the floor. hahaa evelyn;s tcher just called her lan duo. hahah i knew that long ago
ltr going out. then at night going to my uncle's hse to watch "catch me if you can" !!! yea~ and eat pizza.. oh dear.. HILARY! i'm going back onto the diet plan! diet diet diet!!! haii monday got no sch and thats e day that got 1hr30min of PE!! and so now i've got 1hr30min less of bringing my diet plan into action. haii thats qt sad.. oh man.. hmm
that day hamzah brought his last year class photo and we saw this guy in his class that really qt good looking! yea! haha he's got nice hair too.. oooohh.. aww crap lahh.
sheesh im kinda getting rather attached to cjc.. how... what if after this one month when my results come out.. and i cant bear to leave. hmm my father actually said he didnt mind me not changing jc after my Os results come out. cus he was saying that change jc then have to adjust to the move again. and that wld be so detrimental to my mental strength. ok e last sentence is crap lahh. hmm so i seriously have no idea "how now brown cow".. haha remember mr wong's corny sentence. and his follow-up: "as u wish jellyfish" oh thats real crap. hmm yea. contemplating going to study mass com at ngee ann poly.. but my sis says its rather the cream of the crop that get it. kinda the elite course. so its not gonna be easy to get in there. oh kristin wanna go there too.
btw Os results coming out on 28th right?
